The Brussels regulatory framework: the ordinance of March 5, 2009

In the Brussels-Capital Region, requirements for soil contamination studies are defined by theOrdinance of March 5, 2009 on the management and remediation of contaminated soil, as amended on June 23, 2017.

Thesoil study includes at a minimum a soil condition assessment (RES). If necessary, it may be supplemented by a detailed study, a risk assessment, a risk management plan and/or a remediation plan, up to thefinal evaluation.

ABV Environment is an accredited expert in soil contamination in the BCR and carries out these various stages in coordination with Brussels Environment.
