The Brussels regulatory framework: the ordinance of March 5, 2009
In the Brussels-Capital Region, the requirements for contaminated soil studies are defined by the ordinance of March 5, 2009, concerning the management and remediation of contaminated soils, as amended on June 23, 2017.
The soil study includes at minimum a soil status assessment (RES). If necessary, it can be supplemented by a detailed study, a risk assessment, a risk management plan, and/or a remediation project, up to the final evaluation.
ABV Development is an accredited expert in soil pollution in the Brussels-Capital Region and ensures the completion of these various stages in conjunction with Brussels Environment.
