ABV Development teams conduct road traffic counts using pneumatic tubes or radar. Our experts go into the field to observe mobility conditions and identify queue formation phenomena and the causes of traffic congestion.

The study includes an analysis of parking supply and its actual use. Counts are carried out at various times depending on the neighborhoods and their functions. This analysis helps identify specific phenomena such as illegal parking or the presence of vehicles occupying spaces for extended periods.

These analyses provide an assessment of traffic and parking requirements, considering the capacities of existing infrastructure.

The study analyzes the new mobility needs generated by the proposed project. Various hypotheses, based on similar projects, allow for the estimation of generated traffic flows. The assessment considers access routes, intersections (crossroads, roundabouts, traffic lights), and the infrastructure's absorption capacity.

Using specialized software, ABV Development models traffic in a defined area and tests various hypotheses. The simulations allow us to recommend the best solutions to improve traffic flow, while aiming to ensure the satisfaction of various public space users.

The mobility study pays particular attention to active travel issues, with recommendations aligned with regional principles on the matter, for example, strengthening the network of cycle paths or pedestrian walkways.
