Regional investment grants: fund your transition projects

Managed by VLAIO, the Ecologie Premie+ covers a restrictive list of specific investments aimed at integrating the best technologies and practices into small, medium, and large enterprises. Topics include transport, refrigeration technologies, heat/heating, and water management. The amount of aid depends on the nature of the investment, the size of the company, and the associated energy performance.

STRES targets large-scale projects with a strong innovative character, offering substantial environmental benefits and significant strategic advantages for the company and Flanders. The minimum investment is 1.5 million euros. The aid rate varies between 20 and 55% depending on the technology, company size, and accepted additional cost. STRES complements EP+ for technologies not covered.

The Green aid aims to support companies in their energy transition to replace the use of fossil fuels for their production processes with electrification or the use of sustainable alternatives. The aid ranges from 20 to 40% depending on the nature of the investment and the size of the company.

Wallonia supports SMEs and large companies through 4 pillars:
- Energy efficiency of processes: 20-40% on the additional effort (audit required)
- Renewable energy sources: 8-50% depending on the nature (biomass, geothermal, heat pump, wind turbine, etc.)
- Environmental protection: 15-40% for exceeding European or federal requirements
- Refrigeration units: 15-40% for replacement with CO2, Propane or NH3
