Water and flood risks

Soil modification or the development of new infrastructure can affect the water cycle and alter runoff paths. This can lead to increased flow pressure, an increased risk of flood hazards, a reduction in groundwater recharge capacity, or pollution problems.

Effective stormwater management aims to: reduce runoff volume, minimize the load on drainage infrastructure, limit erosion, prevent flood risks, and prevent surface water pollution.

As part of an environmental permit application, the impact assessment may require a technical analysis related to flood hazards and runoff issues. ABV Development's services include:
