Certification (BREEAM, DGNB, HQE)

Having the performance of your buildings recognized helps to strengthen their market value.

The environmental performance of buildings has significantly gained importance among the criteria considered by tenants and prospective buyers. Having these performances recognized through certification enhances the value of properties.

To meet market expectations, it is increasingly common to have the environmental performance of buildings certified via recognized standards. The choice of the most suitable certification depends on the project's objectives, its location, and the market context.

The certification process is ideally considered from the design phases, to allow for all options to be explored and the targeted performance level to be achieved.

BREEAM

A pioneer since 1990, BREEAM certification is now recognized in over 85 countries. It evaluates buildings across 10 themes (including energy, health, materials, water, biodiversity) and assigns a rating from 'pass' to 'outstanding'.

DGNB

Of German origin, DGNB certification covers the entire building lifecycle through 4 standards (new build, renovation, operation, deconstruction). It evaluates 6 categories and assigns a level ranging from 'bronze' to 'platinum'.

HQE (High Environmental Quality)

Launched by CERTIVEA, HQE Building certification comes in 3 versions (Construction, Renovation, Operation) and evaluates 14 targets across 4 commitments (eco-construction, eco-management, comfort, health). There are 4 levels of requirement, from 'performing' to 'exceptional'.
