Biodiversity, water & circularity
BiodiverCity® Label
Integrate biodiversity considerations into your construction and development projects with the support of accredited BiodiverCity® ecological assessors.

The BiodiverCity® label evaluates and promotes construction and development projects that contribute to enhancing urban biodiversity.
Created in 2013 by the International Council for Biodiversity & Real Estate (CIBI-IBPC), the BiodiverCity® label supports construction, renovation, and development projects that are committed to preserving and enhancing urban biodiversity.
In Belgium, ABV Development is the only consulting firm approved by CIBI. Several team members are accredited as BiodiverCity® ecological assessors and support project owners from the design phase.
BiodiverCity® labels

A complementary label to international certifications
Labels BiodiverCity® complement international certifications BREEAM®, LEED® and HQE™, which incorporate biodiversity without making it the subject of an in-depth assessment.
They provide a better way to showcase the approach and efforts implemented within a project to ensure quality of life and limit impacts on biodiversity.
These labels are aimed at all urban stakeholders who contribute to transforming, renovating, constructing, or operating real estate assets: residential projects, office buildings, public facilities, commercial sites, industrial or logistics sites, and urban developments.
