COBRACE - SNCB

As part of the renewal of the environmental permit for one of its administrative buildings in Brussels, SNCB called on ABV Development to carry out the parking impact assessment in accordance with COBRACE (Brussels Air, Climate and Energy Code).
Optimising mobility in an urban area: SNCB calls on ABV Development for a COBRACE exemption
As part of its project to reduce the number of parking spaces available at its office buildings in order to discourage employees from using their cars for commuting, SNCB called on ABV Development to obtain an exemption from the number of authorised spaces under COBRACE due to the specific activities of the building.

A strategic exemption for a specific use of parking spaces
The exemption request for the additional parking spaces was successfully concluded: the request was granted through the environmental permit.
The parking spaces concerned are, among others, available for vehicles for people with reduced mobility, shared cars, police vehicles, and also for staff members working 24/7 on passenger information and real-time train traffic management.
Thank you to SNCB for their trust!
