Benefit from a SESAM grant to hire staff.
The financial incentive SESAM pursues two objectives:
- on the one hand, the return to employment of unemployed persons by creating sustainable and quality jobs;
- on the other hand, support for small Walloon companies by giving them the opportunity to develop their activities by hiring additional staff.
The financial incentive SESAM is granted to a self-employed person, a micro or small company, excluding associations and foundations. The company that benefits from it is required to hire an unemployed jobseeker registered with Forem in one of its establishment units located in the French-speaking Region.
The device SESAM consists in the award of a fixed and degressive annual subsidy (for a maximum of 3 years).
In addition, this financial incentive may be increased by an additional amount that is also a lump-sum. This bonus can be granted when the hired worker is an unemployed jobseeker who, on the date of employment, is a member of:
- from a category of job seekers who are more vulnerable on the labour market or
- of the first 3 commitments made by the company.
ABV Development will be in charge of the process of obtaining the financial incentive, and of the quarterly follow-up with the FOREM after obtaining and engaging your staff.
Points of attention:
- We will need the data necessary to carry out the SME test for companies of the “legal entity” type.
- The company must have at least one operating unit located in a French-speaking region
- Some NACE codes are excluded
- The average processing time for SESAM applications is currently 5 months.
